The transition from university to independent practice can be an extremely challenging time for new graduates. Pacific Smiles Group is proud to announce our partnership with RIPEGLOBAL and take the lead in offering a revamped one-year structured program.

Our new graduate program now also gives you the option to grow your own business under a Service and Facility Agreement (SFA) or choose an Employment Agreement with a fixed income for up to 12 months.

With over 130 dental centres across the East Coast of Australia and the exclusive operational management of the HBF Dental centres in Western Australia, Pacific Smiles Group can offer the best start to your career in dentistry, wherever you choose to live.

What can you expect from the Dentist Graduate Program?

Pacific Smiles Group is committed to supporting passionate dental graduates with opportunities to build confidence, build business skills, extend clinical scope plus the additional support of experienced 1:1 in centre mentorship. Stay in touch with our team members from when you receive your offer to when you commence as a Dentist.

What does the Dentist Graduate Program include?
Clinical Support
  • 1:1 clinical mentoring by an experienced practitioner for 12 months
  • Assistance with diagnosis, treatment planning and case discussion
  • Access to a private online graduate discussion group
Clinical Practice
  • RIPEGLOBAL 4 months direct access ongoing for another 8 months
  • Balanced schedules in centres with high patient demands
  • No KPI’s, targets or financial pressure
  • No time pressure, set your own appointment durations
  • Part of a network of over 130 dental centres and over 900+ dentists
Business Practice
  • 1:1 Business mentoring for 12 months
  • Quarterly business review with Regional Business Leader
  • Practice accreditation
  • Discounts for direct costs, loupes, CPD courses

  • Access to PSG online library learning, 60 hours towards CPD including but not limited to:
    • Soft Tissue Screening
    • Periodontal Screening and Analysis
    • Caries Management and fluorides
    • Management of the pediatric patient
    • D4W training
    • Trios Scanner Training
    • Cracked tooth debate
    • Achieving success in crown and bridgework
    • Tooth whitening masterclass
    • Geriatric and Paediatric dentistry
  • Graduate webinars throughout the year
  • Opportunities to access additional free and paid CPD courses and events
  • National Law, Consent, Record Keeping
  • Infection control training – face to face and online options
PSG Safety Net Program
  • Clinical governance system for practitioners to learn each other
  • Write comprehensive notes quickly and effectively
  • Peer audits
  • Continuous development such as implant development package as you upskill
  • Access to clinical safety reports (past and future)
  • Lessons learned
  • Incident and complaint handling
Eligibility
  • Graduates from an Australian University in 2023
  • Minimum 4 clinical days/32 hours in practise

  5. Choose to work as a Dental Assistant post exams if you wish
