Pacific Smiles Dental, Morisset and Glendale nib Dental Care proudly participated in the National Dental Foundation Dental Rescue Day program on the 10th November 2012.
Dental Rescue Days involve dentists, dental assistants and support staff volunteering to help restore the confidence and self-esteem among vulnerable Australians who otherwise wouldn’t have access to dental care.
A total of $10,492.00 worth of dental services were provided to 24 patients on the 10th of November 2012. Following the appointments, patients left the centres expressing their gratitude for the treatment and support they received from both practitioners and staff.
The number of charities were supported including WHO (We Help Ourselves), The Glen and The Salvation Army.
Thank you to the dedicated teams who volunteered their time to help Australians in need. In particular, Dr Andreas Schwander, Dr Mariela Wilcox, Dr Garth Jones, Dr Alison Hughes, Natalie Sneddon, Marcia Pool, Jen Pizzey, Nora McKewen and Kelly Tommerup at Pacific Smiles Dental, Morisset. Thank you also to the team at Glendale nib Dental Care that included Dr Ellie Pak Mehr and Ellie Cole.
