Pacific Smiles Group recently celebrated the completion of an extensive refurbishment at one of its Sydney based dental centres located in Gladesville.
The Pacific Smiles Dental Care Centre, located at 3 Meriton Street Gladesville, was acquired by Pacific Smiles Group in June 2008 from Dr Warwick Birch and Dr Rod Mitchell who had been servicing the Gladesville community for many years. Dr Birch continues to practice from the Centre, while Dr Mitchell took the opportunity to retire.
The refurbishment, which commenced in late 2008, included the complete fit out of four surgeries along with the installation of digital x-rays and OPG. A new lab and sterilisation room have been constructed making infection control and sterilisation a key focus of the Centre.
Accompanying the refurbishment was an enhanced security system and a full upgrade of IT throughout the Centre.
The reception and waiting areas have been beautifully transformed to enhance patient comfort while a children’s play area including Play Station is now also available to keep the children occupied.
In association with the completion of the renovation, Pacific Smiles Dental, Gladesville now offers Saturday appointments and additional Practitioners to enhance the accessibility of the Centre to the entire community.
